NEW TO CHRISTIANITY?

Learning to walk with God can be a difficult thing, but it is the most rewarding thing you will ever do.  The resources below are designed to help you get a fresh start and grow in your faith.  Obviously, these things can only go so far, which is why joining a group like the New Believers group is so important.  As always, if you have questions, do not hesitate to reach out to Pastors Mike or Jamie.  They, along with the rest of the leadership team, are committed to helping you move forward and develop an overcoming life.

  • Our faith in Christ and his teachings about our most important relationships are supported by a few fundamental truths that we call Foundations.  Approximately every six months our teaching team revisits these fundamental truths so that our congregation remains anchored in their faith and strong in their critical relationships.  These lessons are the most important teachings you should consider.  We recommend starting with "Stay Together" or "Failing Forward".  At this link you will find audio and video of sermons in this series.

  • On that last Sunday morning of the month from 9:00 - 9:30 AM, Pastor Mike, or one of the leadership team, meets with new believers to help them grow in their faith. If you are a new to following Christ and would like an opportunity to ask questions, then come join the conversation. Contact Pastor Mike for more info.

  • The Bible is the catalyst to change in our lives, so spending time each day reading Scriptures is essential to growing our faith.  Over the course of each year Cornerstone Church reads through a portion of the Bible.  Follow this link to see where we are currently at.  If you would like to read something else besides where we are, then consider the Gospel of Mark, Psalms, or Proverbs.  Enjoy!

  • A person's faith hinges on what they believe about the Bible. At Cornerstone Church we believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man.  As such, the Bible is the only reliable, accurate, and definitive guide in matters of faith and conduct.  Follow the link to learn more about our beliefs.

  • Every once in a while we all need someone to pray with us.  Follow the link to fill out the prayer request form.  Our Congregational Care Director will follow up with you soon after.
