Service Times

Our services are held every Sunday at 10:00 AM, but most people arrive 15-20 minutes early to eat snacks, drink coffee, and fellowship. Our services last about 75 to 90 minutes and incorporate meaningful worship, a Bible-centered sermon, fantastic kids and youth programs, as well as helpful hosts available to answer any questions you may have. See you soon!

COVID-19 Precautions

Given how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our world, we recognize that many have anxiety about visiting or returning to a church gathering. In response, we have modified our worship experience to comply with the latest county ordinances to provide a safe environment. As these safety measures do change the ministry environment, we will do our best to engage each other in a way that expresses God's love. The following is an overview of what you can expect when you enter our church home.

It’s going to be a different (and frankly weird) way to be the church together, but what is important is that we gather in love, experience God’s presence as we worship, pray for each other, and learn from His word of His great redemptive plans for us and our world. We appreciate your patience with us as we all learn to worship God, fellowship and minister in this new way. For nothing (not even COVID-19) can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).

  • All families will sit together

Nursery services, children’s ministry, youth ministry, etc. will not be available to avoid contact between kids of different families. Instead, families will be asked to sit together during services in designated areas to create social distance. As an alternative to the main sanctuary, we will make available a limited number of private rooms that are equipped with remote monitors to view the service for families with small children.

  • If you're sick, please stay home

We ask that you stay home if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms for the safety of those gathering; we are required to ask whether you have these symptoms when you enter. But, we invite you to send a prayer request through our website so that we may pray for you until you are healthy and able to come back to church, and we will gladly minister to you in person next time you visit.

  • bring your own beverages, toys, snacks

We ask that you bring your own beverages, snacks, toys, etc for yourself and your family since we will not be offering these services at this time (though we would love to).

  • Bring a mask

You will be asked to wear a mask in public areas, but you can remove it once you are with your family in a location that is designated as providing social distance. Under these socially distanced conditions, we will be able to unmask to enjoy each others’ faces and worship in the sanctuary.

  • follow the posted signage

We will ask that you follow our posted signage which will provide instructions regarding appropriate hygiene, social distancing, masks, and other prudent measures.

  • be aware that capacity may be limited

If our gathering has reached its safe capacity for our building, we will ask that you visit us in the future and perhaps you join our service online.

  • communion will be kept safe & sanitary

Communion, when served, will be served by people wearing masks and gloves, or with individual pre-packaged elements provided at the entrance.

What to Expect

At Cornerstone Church we go out of our way to make sure that your first experience is the absolute best it can be.  Listed below is what you can expect when you are our guest.

  • No Frills, Genuine, Christ-Centered Worship

We genuinely love God and other people. This is evident in how we worship, as well as how we care for the congregation and community.  At Cornerstone, you won’t find flashy worship that feels more like a concert than a church service. Instead, our worship team leads us through powerful, intimate worship where people are free to worship God in any way they choose.  In our worship services we include a variety of special elements ranging from Communion and Water Baptism to times of prayer and public testimony. We encourage you to come prepared to genuinely seek God through worship and prayer, because when we seek Him with our whole heart we will experience His life-changing love for ourselves.

  • Authentic Friendships & UNPARALLELED hospitality

When you walk in the door, the first thing you notice are our people. We are a friendly, tight-knit congregation that aims to make people feel welcome and wanted, and our First Impressions Team and Community Groups keep it going by helping people start and maintain long-lasting friendships. If you’re looking for a church where you feel supported, known, and loved, we’re it. If you’re looking for a church where you can hide in the back row without being noticed, this isn’t the congregation for you.

  • Bible-Centered Teaching That grows your faith

Our pastor and teachers want to help people, young and old, grow in their relationships with God and others and at the center of that growth is the Bible.  We believe the Bible teaches us how to start and maintain God-pleasing, mutually-beneficial relationships with God and others. Therefore, we keep it as the primary source of our learning ministries.  So, if you are looking for a pithy, feel-good speech every weekend that neither challenges you nor causes you to grow in your faith, then this is not the congregation for you.

  • Balanced & consistent Missions

At Cornerstone Church we want to consistently lead people to Christ, both those who are near and far.  We do this through balancing the type of missions (personal and impersonal) and the distance (local and global).  If you are looking for a church that is focused on itself and no one else, then this is not the congregation for you. We are excited to fulfill Jesus’ great commission and we invite you to join us in doing so.

  • Excellence in All We Do

In all things, we try to do our best because we believe that this honors God and blesses others. With that said, our congregation is a place where an inexperienced person can grow in ministry. You will find people of all age ranges and skill levels involved in ministry at our church. So, while we value excellence, we also value patience and grace.  If you have an idea for a new ministry or are looking to jump into something you’ve never done before, then we're ready to support you and help you grow.

  • A Culture of Involvement

For Cornerstone Church, as a part of Christ’s body, to build itself up in love, we believe everyone must be involved. As each of us pray, give, and serve we bring glory to God and give the congregation the best chance to experience the other core values. Each person has something to offer to God and others.  So, if you’re looking for a church where you can roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, then we welcome you to join us!

What We Believe

At Cornerstone Church, you are not going to find any perfect people. However, you will find people who are trying to follow Jesus' life and teaching to the best of their ability. Our goal is to model and teach others how to have good relationships with God and others, just like Jesus did.
